South Essex Academy Trust is a multi-academy trust with a family of academy primary schools that actively work together to support each other in achieving the very best for the children and staff.

Collaboration drives the agenda to ensure that every academy gives and receives what they need to focus on school improvement.

Committed to innovation the Trust has developed a bespoke approach to continuous professional development known as the Leadership Academy.  There are other innovations such as the school week, Central Services including finance and HR as well as approaches to the curriculum.

Perseverance is encouraged and enabled for all the staff and children in South Essex Academy Trust using principles found in Growth Mindset and driven by high expectations for everyone.

Governance, staff development, teaching and learning and in cross curricular activities everyone in this community of academies experiences supportive challenge to achieve the best individually and collectively.

South Essex Academy Trust is governed by a team of experienced directors committed to these four values of Collaboration, Perseverance, Challenge and Innovation.  The CEO, Catherine Stalham, leads the team of headteachers who work together and report against these values to ensure the best and developing education for all the children across the Trust.  They are supported by a highly effective central team.
